This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit donnamundy.com, how we use it and the choices you have.

Who are we?

What information do we collect?

Information you give us. Our website has one inquiry form, on our home page. When you send it, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • The type of session you are interested in
  • Your preferred date or season (optional)
  • Your message, and anything you choose to include in it

The form also includes a hidden field and a time check to block automated spam. These do not identify you. We do not use a third party captcha service.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how long you stay and the website that referred you. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address and the date and time of your visit.

Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can count visits and understand how the site is used. See "Cookies and tracking" below.

Visitors do not create accounts on our website.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share it for advertising purposes. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site:

  • Our web host, Hostinger, which hosts the site, sends form emails and stores a private, access restricted copy of form submissions.
  • Google Analytics, which provides website usage statistics.
  • Our email provider, which receives and stores the emails we get from the form.
  • Our website manager, The Hillary, the company that designs and manages our website. A copy of each form submission is sent to them so they can make sure the form is working and inquiries are delivered.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or the rights or safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Online payments are not taken on this website. If you book with us, invoices are handled separately (for example, through QuickBooks). Finished photos are delivered through online gallery services, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects the information described above. Google's use of this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not currently use advertising pixels or tracking for ads.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you, to serve you if you become a client and to keep reasonable business records. If you do not book with us, you can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our Google Analytics account.

How do we protect your information?

We use reasonable safeguards. The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. Saved form submissions are stored in a private file on our web host that is not publicly accessible. Admin access to the site is limited to Donna and her website manager. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as financial details through the form.

What are your choices and rights?

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information

To make a request, email donna@donnamundyphotography.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Our website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Senior sessions and family sessions that involve minors are booked by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
